The future power struggle

Around the world people often state that good things come in pairs. The same can be said about zero-emission mobility with hydrogen fuel cells and batteries in the electric space. Both technologies have fierce backings from their respective industries creating somewhat of a rivalry. However, now is the time to end this and not neglect the true objective at hand – a zero-emission future. If we are to achieve this, collectively both hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) and battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) will play a crucial role in achieving a net zero society.

At H2 View, we understand the “either/or” debate conflicts with the urgent requirements to transition away from fossil fuels to decarbonise the mobility sector worldwide. Both BEVs and FCEVs each offer distinct characteristics from one another. With both technologies being pursued, this allows for a greater range of low-carbon solutions and helps customers to select products that are more optimised to the user’s needs.

Looking for a car that provides a greater range for a long commute to work? A hydrogen FCEV may well be the best solution for you. Driving in a modern city and have easy access to charging infrastructure in your home? A BEV could be the best solution for you.
