Why Verdagy’s new CEO thinks it can succeed where other electrolyser OEMs stall


Verdagy’s next CEO says the company can deliver green hydrogen at the same cost as fossil fuels without subsidies in just three years.

That claim goes against the grain in a market weighed down by delays, spiralling costs, and subsidy dependence.

However, Rahul Bammi, who will step up to the position in July after serving as President for the past four years, while his predecessor, Marty Neese takes up the CEO role at fuel cell firm Ballard, remains highly confident.

“Our focus and mission have always been to enable fossil parity for green hydrogen,” Bammi told H2 View. “We’re well on that path. We’re going to be there in three years, without subsidies.”
