12 BayoTech trailers ordered as hydrogen demand increases in US

California-based BayoTechannounced on Tuesday (May 10), 12 of its HyFillhydrogen transport trailers have been ordered from three of the ‘world’s leading industrial gas companies’. 

The transport trailers are due to be used to deliver high-pressure hydrogen gas to support motive and stationary fuel cell applications in California, as demand for hydrogen fuel cell power systems and vehicles continues to increase in the US.  

BayoTech have praised its Type III composite cylinders used in its trailers, which the company claims can carry up to three times more hydrogen than traditional steel tube trailers. The company says this technology means more sites can be refuelled from each trailer, lowering transport costs.
