12 new hydrogen buses hit the streets of Bolzano

Solaris has today confirmed today (May 14) 12 of its Urbino bus models that run on hydrogen will join the existing electric bus fleet in the Italian city of Bolzano.

Public transport operator, SASA Bolzano is the first of Solaris’ clients to opt for the hydrogen Urbino model with a total of 12 buses based on the state-of-the-art technology set to be deployed in the streets of Bolzano.

This is yet another option in Solaris’ zero-emission portfolio with the Urbino 12 hydrogen possessing all the same advantages of an all-electric bus whilst also guaranteeing an extremely long driving range on a single refill with steam being the only by-product of the energy generation process.
