$200m US DOE fund to support Ford, Daimler Trucks, and more, in developing hydrogen and fuel cell trucks

As part of the US Department of Energy’s SuperTruck 3 initiative, hydrogen and fuel cell vehicles will receive part of a $200m investment to promote the development of zero-emission truck applications.

The SuperTruck 3 initiative will include several projects that aim to utilise hydrogen and fuel cells to create more efficient and environmentally friendly trucks.

Within this are some widely recognised vehicle manufacturers including Daimler, Ford, General Motors, and PACCAR.
