8,363 – that’s the number of hydrogen fuel cell cars that have been sold and leased in the US as of 1st June 2020.
That means 54 more fuel cell cars have hit the road in the last month.
Reporting the monthly numbers on its website, the California Fuel Cell Partnership (CaFCP) said California has 48 hydrogen fuel cell buses in operation and 41 hydrogen stations open.
Whilst coronavirus has slowed down the station rollout in California, a lot of development activity continues, CaFCP’s Keith Malone told H2 View in a recent interview.
According to the latest CaFCP numbers, California has 18 hydrogen stations, seven fuel cell buses and four fuel cell shuttles in development.
