“A new hydrogen internal combustion engine can be put into an existing truck and run into the fuel system,” Radiša Nunić, Director of Public Affairs for Hydrogen and European Sales at Worthington Industries, told a H2 View webinar today (Sept 17).

With hydrogen internal combustion engines providing a unique opportunity to retrofit existing trucks with a clean engine, the market for this technology could spark greater interest in hydrogen mobility.

Should demand increase for hydrogen internal combustion engines, the need for a steady supply chain of green hydrogen would be monumental unlocking a booming economy across the hydrogen sector.
