Adani commissions India’s ‘first’ off-grid green hydrogen plant


Adani New Industries (ANIL) has commissioned India’s “first” off-grid 5MW green hydrogen pilot plant in Gujarat.

The plant is reportedly powered by 100% solar energy and integrated with a battery storage system to allow it to operate completely off-grid.

The plant uses a closed-loop, automated electrolyser system capable of adjusting to real-time solar input. H2 View understands that this addresses intermittency while maintaining efficiency and safety.
