Agreement signed for hydrogen station at Toulouse-Blagnac airport

A framework agreement has been signed for the construction of the first green hydrogen station at Toulouse-Blagnac airport in France.

The new station will supply hydrogen to four buses that will be operated by Transdev, a French international private public transport operator.

Toulouse-Blagnac airport’s new buses will operate on the runways, transporting passengers between the terminals and airplanes. The buses will also provide shuttles between the terminal and far carparks.

Signed by Toulouse-Blagnac Airport, AREC Occitaine, and Engie Solutions, the agreement marks the first steps of the project that was announced last year.
