AHC proposes $10bn net zero fund to unlock Australia’s hydrogen opportunity

Australia urgently needs a national approach to creating a viable hydrogen energy industry.

That’s according to a new whitepaper released today (Sep 27) by the Australian Hydrogen Council that believes the establishment of a net zero fund to accelerate hydrogen utilisation is needed.

Titled Unlocking Australia’s Hydrogen Opportunity, the Council’s first-ever white paper suggests the Australian Government allocated $10bn for the net zero fund that would support large-scale industries decarbonise.
