Airborne Labs launches new hydrogen fuel sampling units

Airborne Labs International has announced the availability of two new, field-trialled hydrogen fuel sampling units for direct, rapid H70 (70Mpa, 700 bar) dispenser sampling at commercial fuelling stations.

The NSP-7606 hydrogen sampler, one of two units, was designed to meet the requirements of ASTM D7606-11 “Sampling of High-Pressure Hydrogen and Related Fuel Cell Feed Gases”.

The unit employs several key passivated components including two, dual valved, 1L Silotek™ passivated sampling cylinders with quick-connect ports.

Airborne Labs’ second unit, the MRM-7650 hydrogen sampler, was designed to meet the requirements of ASTM D760-13 “Sampling of Particulate Matter in High-Pressure Hydrogen used as a Gaseous Fuel with an In-Stream Filter.”

A unique advantage of the unit is that it employees a Mass Flow Controller with a totalizer for rapid (less than ten minutes) and highly accurate measurement of fuel mass sampled.

Both units come with a shipping chase, SAE J2600 receptacles, a venting assembly, grounding clips, handheld hydrogen leak detector, OEM component certifications/specifications, HAZOP report, pictorial sampling instructions, operations manual and a link to an instruction video.
