Alleima will provide a critical component for the mass production of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) for South Korea’s Doosan Fuel Cell.
Under a SEK 160m ($14.5m) deal, the Swedish company will begin deliveries to Doosan in Q1 2025, which will last for two years. Doosan announced plans to build a 50MW mass-manufacturing facility based in South Korea in 2020.

Doosan will start commercial production of SOFCs this year. The company expects the systems to be used in maritime and stationary applications.
