In a move that is set to benefit zero-emissions rail transportation, Alstom and Liebherr have joined forces to optimise hydrogen systems by increasing power density and reducing costs.
Confirming such commitment, the duo today (Nov 29) inked a collaboration agreement as an additional asset in the development of Alstom’s hydrogen business.
News of the partnership follows a series of collaboration agreements Alstom has recently inked, which has seen the company team up with the likes of Plastic Omnium, SNAM and Eversholt.
Jean-Baptiste Eyméoud, President of Alstom France, said, “Alstom has made sustainable mobility one of the pillars of its strategic plan Alstom in Motion 2025.
