AM Green, Port of Rotterdam explore green hydrogen trade link


The developer of a 1.3GW green hydrogen-based ammonia plant in India has inked an agreement with the Port of Rotterdam Authority to explore building a green energy supply chain between India and Northwest Europe.

AM Green and the Port of Rotterdam say they will look into the supply of bunkering fuels and sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), as well as the terminal infrastructure requirements in Rotterdam and across the region.

They also intend to support the development of hydrogen-based product distribution infrastructure.
