Aquarius Engines unveils 10kg hydrogen engine to overcome fuel cell shortcomings

Aquarius Engines has today (May 18) unveiled a brand-new 10kg single-piston-linear-engine that operates exclusively on hydrogen.

Based on the same technology as the original Aquarius Engine invented in 2014, the latest development utilises a lightweight design and a unique internal-gas-exchange method to greatly reduce emissions and lower the global carbon footprint.

The company said it waited to unveil its latest innovation after successful tests which have been carried out by Australian engineering firm AVL-Schrick.
