Arctech to supply solar tracking technology for Acme’s Oman hydrogen project


Arctech has been selected to supply 175MWp of solar trackers to Acme Group’s 300 tonne-per-day hydrogen-based ammonia project in Duqm, Oman.

The renewable technology firm will deploy its 1P Single Axis Solar Tracking System Skyline II, engineered for harsh environments, to support the solar PV component powering the large-scale green hydrogen production facility.

Located near the southeastern coast of Oman, the region is characterised by coastal desert conditions including sandy soils, high wind speeds, extreme temperatures and high levels of solar radiation, with an annual average of around 5,764 kWh/m2.
