ARENA invests $40m to research low-cost solar energy to unlock cheaper green hydrogen production

The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) has unveiled a new $40m funding in research and development to bolster the creation of ultra-low cost solar to help generate cheaper green hydrogen.

By investing significant funds to lower the cost to generate solar energy it could have a ripple effect throughout the Australian energy market with solar a key resource to create large-scale hydrogen.
