Aurelia Turbines to gain €5m funding to support its hydrogen-ready gas turbines in Finland

Finland continues to develop its hydrogen ecosystem with Climate Fund investing €5m ($5.66m) in Aurelia Turbines; a company that can create small gas turbines that operate on hydrogen.

Revealed by Aurelia Turbines today (Dec 2), the funding will help scale its innovative technology and help diversify the hydrogen economy in Finland creating a region ripe with opportunity for the clean energy carrier.

The technology set to benefit from the funding is the Aurelia®A400 turbine which is ideally suited for small-scale combined heat and power (CHP) generation in decentralised grids across the world.
