Automated fuel cell manufacturing plant to be inaugurated

German fuel cell technology innovator Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH is to officially inaugurate its new ‘Fit-4-AMandA’ (Fit for Automatic Manufacturing and Assembly) project later this month.

The project is essentially an automated fuel cell manufacturing plant and will represent Bavaria’s only fuel cell stack robot. It has been supported by the European Agency FCH JU (Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking).

The official inauguration will be held at the site in Puchheim on 27thSeptember (2019) and will include the symbolic ‘push of a button’ by Hubert Aiwanger, Deputy Prime Minister of Bavaria and Minister of State of the Free State for economy, regional development and energy.

Helmut Gierse, Chairman of Proton Motor, and Manfred Limbrunner, Director of Sales & Marketing, will welcome guests and provide a brief introduction to the fuel cell technology of Proton Motor. As well as his push of a button inauguration, Aiwanger will also provide a greeting and statement.
