Ballard to supply two marine fuel cells to the ‘world’s first’ liquid hydrogen-powered ferry

The “world’s first” liquid hydrogen powered ferry is one step closer to completion with Ballard Power Systems supplying two, 200kW FCwave fuel cell modules to Norled A/S.

Revealed today (Feb 2), the hydrogen fuel cell modules will be integrated into the MF Hydra ferry and will support the growing zero-emission maritime industry growing in Norway.
