BayoTech shifts hydrogen hub from Stockton to new site for faster rollout


BayoTech has relocated its Northern California hydrogen hub from its original Port of Stockton site in a bid to achieve faster project execution.

While the new site in the region hasn’t been revealed, BayoTech expects that it will speed up project development and maximise community benefits, despite the Stockston site having full approvals and local support.

BayoTech’s hydrogen project is expected to produce low-carbon hydrogen for use in fuel cell electric vehicles, serving public transport, industrial applications and backup power. The company plans to deliver hydrogen directly to customers using high-pressure transport and on-site storage and dispensing.
