Bilfinger acquires nZero Group to boost hydrogen capabilities in the UK


German engineering firm Bilfinger has acquired UK-based nZero Group and its subsidiaries, Thyson Technology and Orbital Gas Systems, in a bid to enhance expertise in the gas and hydrogen sectors.

The undisclosed transaction was closed with immediate effect, transferring nZero’s offices in Ellesmere Port, as well as sites in Staffordshire and Bristol, along with 240 employees, to Bilfinger.

nZero Group specialises in providing advanced technologies and engineering solutions to support the production, measurement and integration of hydrogen into energy systems.
