British Columbia’s second hydrogen station opens

British Columbia’s second hydrogen refuelling station has officially opened in Burnaby.

Commissioned through a partnership between Shell Canada and Hydrogen Technology & Energy Corporation (HTEC), the new station will provide hydrogen electric vehicle drivers in the province with a second refuelling option.

“Drivers of hydrogen electric vehicles have clocked millions of miles and refuelled hundreds of thousands of times at stations around the world. Here in BC, HTEC is excited to be building fuelling infrastructure with partners like Shell,” said Colin Armstrong, HTEC’s CEO.

“Together, we’re making hydrogen vehicles a practical and feasible zero emission choice for consumers and supporting the growing fleet of vehicles rolling onto BC roads.”
