Collaboration could see offshore hydrogen production at the Port of Rotterdam

Sif Group, representing KCI the Engineers, GE Renewable Energy and Pondera, announced today (May 17) that the companies will collaborate on an offshore hydrogen production project.

The Green Hydrogen Centralised Offshore Wind Production project, AmpHytrite, is hoping to master a centralised offshore and off-grid hydrogen production unit.

The companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), to contribute to the feasibility study, into the proposed AmpHytrite site located at Sif’s Maasvlakte 2 terminal in the Port of Rotterdam.
