Cranfield Aerospace, Dronamics partner to develop hydrogen-powered drone with 2,500km range

Cranfield Aerospace Solutions (CAeS) and Dronamics have today (November 9) revealed they will look to integrate hydrogen fuel cell technology into a long-range cargo drone.

H2 View understands, the partnership will see CAeS fuel cells integrated into the Dronamics developed drone, called the Black Swan, which is said to be capable of carrying up to 350kg at a range of up to 2,500km.

It is hoped by combining the technologies the partners can further develop the possibilities of zero-emission aviation, by working together to bring a viable, sustainable solution for cargo delivery services to market.
