DEWA and ENOC plan hydrogen mobility pilot project in UAE

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) are set to explore establishing, developing, and operating a joint integrated pilot project for the use of hydrogen in mobility in the UAE.

The proposed project plans to take advantage of DEWA’s existing green hydrogen production facility at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, in Saih Al-Dahal.

H2 View understands the project includes a feasibility for the construction of a hydrogen fuelling station, contributing to achieving the goals set out in the Dubai Green Mobility Initiative 2030, aimed at stimulating the use of sustainable transport.
