DNV has awarded an Approval in Principle (AiP) to CB&I and Hanwha Ocean’s cargo containment system design for an 80,000m3 liquid hydrogen carrier.
Under the AiP, CB&I’s cargo containment systems meet applicable safety standards including the International Code of the Construction and Equipment of Ships Carrying Liquefied Gases in Bulk (IGC Code) and certifications issued by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO).
