€14m AmmoRef project to explore more efficient ammonia cracking technology for industrial-scale hydrogen transport

A new €14m ($15.79m) project is aiming to develop ammonia cracking technology to ensure the successful and efficient transportation of industrial-scale hydrogen across the globe.

If successful, this would be a significant development for the global hydrogen value chain with vast amounts of hydrogen being capable of being transported across long distances through the conversion to ammonia at competitive rates.
