€4m electrolyser order for Danish green ammonia project

Nel Hydrogen said it has received a €4m ($4.07m) purchase order for an electrolyser system to produce green ammonia in Denmark.

The Norwegian company revealed last Friday (July 8), the order submitted by Skovgaard Energy Aps in Lemvig, Western Jutland, Denmark would contribute to the ‘world’s first’ dynamic green ammonia plant.

H2 View understands the demonstration plant will test how an ammonia reactor can fluctuate operations based on renewable power input and hopes to provide insights for future large-scale power-to-X and green ammonia projects.
