easyJet CEO calls on government to support green hydrogen in aviation

easyJet’s CEO has today (Sept 21) urged government and industry to work together to support the implementation of hydrogen into airports.

Speaking at the Airbus Summit in Toulouse, France, Johan Lungran urged industry and the government to work together to deliver on zero-emission technology that is required to decarbonise the aviation sector.

One of the first recommendations is the need for the government to support the development of hydrogen supply and infrastructure at airports alongside investments into renewable energy to support the creation of green hydrogen for aviation.
