European electro-mobility solutions provider eCap has signed a cooperation agreement with Re-Fire, a supplier of fuel cell systems and fuel cell vehicle powertrain engineering from China.
Under the agreement, the companies will co-develop fuel cell projects in northern Europe to help expand the commercialisation of fuel cell technologies.
The partnership will see Re-Fire supply fuel cell systems and auxiliary system components, while eCap will provide local engineering and servicing capabilities for customers in the European market.
“We have discovered great potential in achieving clean mobility solutions together with Re-Fire. The partnership illustrates eCap’s determination to further decarbonise through alternative drivetrain for a wider range of customised projects,” said Dirk Lehmann, Founder of eCap.
“We look forward to building a long-term partnership with Re-Fire to contribute to a zero-emission future not far from now.”
“Re-Fire is delighted to collaborate with eCap who shares with us the commitment to decarbonisation in applications where hydrogen-powered solutions can truly make a different,” said Robin Lin, Chairman and CEO of Re-Fire Technology.
“By entering into this partnership, Re-Fire is taking another decisive step toward the acceleration of hydrogen deployment internationally.”
