Element 1, NEXA partner to accelerate methanol-to-hydrogen generation in the aerospace industry

Element 1 has entered into an agreement with NEXA Capital Partners that will see the accelerated adoption of its methanol-to-hydrogen generators for fuel cell applications in the aerospace industry.

In doing so, it is believed that the industry could benefit hugely from the agreement and could see a surge in the popularity and technological innovation of hydrogen in the aerospace sector.

Methanol can contain vast amounts of hydrogen within it and has been identified as a key hydrogen carrier with methanol able to carry more recoverable hydrogen fuel within it than the equivalent liquid hydrogen.
