Lieutenant Governor of California Eleni Kounalakis said hydrogen fuel cell vehicles are “really poised to take off” in the first part of the California Fuel Cell Partnership’s (CaFCP) California Hydrogen Policy Series of webinars.
Hosted by Bill Elrick, Executive Director of the CaFCP, part one looked at the pace of hydrogen activity and California’s potential in the global hydrogen economy.
Kounalakis, the first woman elected Lt. Governor of California, said California is currently leading the nation in electric vehicle manufacturing and infrastructure.
“In fact,” she said, “electric vehicles are now the state’s number one export.”
