Engineering and design work commences for Australian hydrogen production and refuelling station

Wasco Australia will undertake front end engineering and design (FEED) for Lion Energy’s first hydrogen production and refuelling station in Australia.

Announced last Wednesday (May 25), the FEED is expected to conclude by the end of July 2022, which will allow the final investment decision (FID) for the station to be made.

Subject to its final investment decision, Lion would aim to commence the equipment procurement by August 2022, with hopes of completely the project early in the second half of 2023.
