Entergy to deploy hydrogen technologies as part of its decarbonisation efforts

US energy company Entergy has today signed a joint development agreement with Mitsubishi Power, through which it will look at hydrogen technologies to help decarbonise its utility businesses.

As part of the newly formed partnership, the companies will collaborate on project development and technology solutions that will bring Entergy to a cleaner, more sustainable future by limiting its carbon emissions from electric power generation.

Mitsubishi Power is already emersed in the hydrogen industry and is a first mover in hydrogen-enabled gas turbine and long- and short-term storage solutions. The Japanese company also offers the world’s first standard integrated green hydrogen packages.
