EODev receives Approval in Principal for a hydrogen fuel cell set to decarbonise the maritime industry

Energy Observer Developments (EODev) developers of an innovative electro-hydrogen power solution for the maritime industry has received certification from Bureau Veritas approving the technology.

Revealed today (May 12), the approval provides a means for the second generation of the REXH2® developed by EODev to integrate its hydrogen PEM fuel cell to further decarbonise the maritime industry.

The Approval in Principle (AIP) obtained by EODev for its technology follows a thorough design review against the latest classification rules and regulations, assessing its compliance with the IGF Code specific safety regulations for vessels using gases and low-flashpoint fuels.
