EU grants €3m to advance green hydrogen infrastructure in Türkiye


The European Union will provide €3m ($3.4m) in technical assistance to accelerate the development of a green and low-carbon hydrogen project in Türkiye.

The state-owned Turkish Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ) is set to be the main beneficiary, after the funding was published on the EU Funding and Tenders Portal last week.

The ‘Boosting Green and Low-Carbon Hydrogen in Türkiye’ project aims to strengthen institutional capacity and enhance technical know-how in the hydrogen field.
