Everfuel partners with Karlstads Energi to explore developing Swedish hydrogen hub

Just days after revealing its plans for its Danish hydrogen hub, Everfuel has today (August 26) announced it has signed an agreement with Swedish-based Karlstads Energi to collaborate on the development of a hydrogen hub in Sweden.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) the partners will explore the commercial and technical feasibility of constructing a 20MW electrolyser facility in Karlstad, Sweden as a first phase of the hub development.

The firms say the hub is intended to produce green hydrogen, supply excess heat to the local district heating owned and operated by Karlstads Energi, utilise oxygen for industrial processes, and supply green fuel to mobility and industrial partners.
