Everfuel’s 300MW HySynergy project receives IPCEI status

Everfuel has announced its HySynergy project, which plans to establish 300MW of green hydrogen production capacity in Denmark, has received IPCEI status, enabling public funding for the second phase of the facility.

The first of the HySynergy project is a 20MW electrolyser facility in Fredericia, Denmark which is expected to begin producing hydrogen later this year (2022). In its second phase, Everfuel will extend the existing facility to 300MW capacity.

H2 View understands, phase two, now granted IPCEI status will consist of three sections, each holding 100MW each. Everfuel says the public funding from the IPCEI is ‘connected’ to building the first 100MW of the second phase.
