Experts urge long-term view to lower hydrogen project TCO and ensure viability

Overlooking the need for simplicity, reliability, and long service life in large-scale hydrogen plants is a major factor driving up total cost of ownership (TCO), experts warned during a H2 View webinar.

The CEO highlighted that OPEX often accounts for 60–80% of the TCO in hydrogen projects, especially due to the cost of electricity.
