f-cell+HFC: Transforming both road and air transportation

With less than a week to go until f-cell Germany, H2 View took the opportunity to have one final catch up with some of the speakers from the recently passed f-cell+HFC event, Ben Nyland, President and CEO of Loop Energy and JR Hammond, CEO of Canadian Air Mobility.

Whilst the upcoming f-cell conference will be held physically in Germany, due to the coronavirus pandemic, f-cell+HFC took a virtual route, but still boasted a great selection of speakers covering all corners of both the globe and the hydrogen industry.

Both Nyland and Hammond spoke as part of the Hot Topics session of the event and discussed both Loop Energy and Canadian Air Mobility are hoping to play a role in the Canadian hydrogen economy and change the future of transportation, both on the road and in the air.

First to take to the virtual stage was Nyland who focused his presentation around Loop Energy’s new range extender product line, a group of fuel cell systems which are used in battery electric power trains to extend the range of vehicles.
