Firstgas Group revealed its new hydrogen powered BBQ on the New Zealand AM show on Monday (May 10).
The BBQ is powered by a hydrogen gas bottle that, in time, will cost the same price as an LPG bottle, generate the same amount of heat and also be more environmentally friendly than LPG variants.
The popular morning show saw presenters Duncan Garner, Mark Richardson and Amanda Gillies taste test a range of meats that had been cooked on the BBQ.
Each gave positive reviews to the innovative BBQ and even claimed that around 82% of the population would be in favour of transitioning to this new hydrogen variant.
