FNM opens first of five hydrogen refuelling stations in Lombardy


Ferrovie Nord Milano (FNM) has constructed the first of five hydrogen refuelling stations in Italy, which can serve both light- and heavy-duty vehicles.

The first, located in Carugate, represents the start of a network of stations in and around Lombardy. Another station in Carugate will be constructed, along with a further two in Tortona and one in Rho.

The initiative is being promoted by Milano Serravalle – Milano Tangenzialis S.p.A, an Italian firm that manages and operates toll roads and ring roads in the Milan and Lombardy region.
