Frankfurt commits to hydrogen-powered public transport

A brand-new heavy-duty hydrogen station is set to fuel at least 22 fuel cell buses daily in the city of Frankfurt, Germany.

Everfuel today (Feb 18) said it had received an order from In-der-City-Bus GmbH (ICB) for the station, as well as a three-year supply contract for hydrogen.

Green hydrogen dispensed at the station will be delivered in Everfuel’s custom-built hydrogen trailers and showcase how greenhouse gas emissions can be slashed with hydrogen.
