French electrolyser OEM McPhy seeks buyer under court supervision


Struggling French hydrogen electrolyser firm McPhy Energy has entered judicial reorganisation in an attempt to delay liquidation and secure a buyer or a viable restructuring plan.

During the conciliation process, which has now concluded, McPhy launched a call for takeover bids. While no binding offers were submitted by the initial deadline, a European industrial player has shown interest in acquiring certain assets and activities.

A new deadline of June 13 has been set for interested parties to submit offers for all or parts of McPhy, with a court hearing scheduled for June 24 to review any submitted bids. The Belfort Commercial Court is overseeing its efforts to stay afloat and potentially restructure.
