Plug Power and Gaussin on Monday (August 16) said they want to rapidly penetrate the North American logistics market with hydrogen-powered innovations.
Such statement was a result of an order placed by Plug Power for 20 ATM-H2 hydrogen yard trucks from Gassin which Plug Power will start to deliver in November 2021.
The placed order is part of a wider partnership between the duo that was unveiled in November. Under the collaboration, the duo wanted to explore each other’s technologies to benefit the hydrogen-powered logistics market.
To fuel Gaussin’s innovations, Plug Power said it will use its existing network of hydrogen refuelling stations and service network, currently being used by customers in logistics centres for material handling equipment.
