A new off-grid EV charging solution, powered by hydrogen, has been launched by GenCell Energy, which hopes to generate green, grid-independent, on-site power that can charge EVs ‘anytime, anywhere.’
In a bid to address concerns surrounding EV charging reliance on electricity grids, GenCell’s solution, dubbed EVOX™ is hoped to provide 100% green energy which could be installed on any road in the world.
The Israeli-based company has said the EVOX will help overcome electricity shortage and grid stress, in remote as well as densely populated areas.
