Green hydrogen and ammonia mega project welcomed by Chilean Ministry of Energy

The Minister of Energy for Chile has welcomed a new agreement between Trammo and HNH Energy that will see the development of a hydrogen and green ammonia facility in Magallanes.

The new facility is expected to produce one million tonnes of green ammonia, derived from hydrogen, in a 2GW wind farm in Magallanes, Chile.

AustriaEnergy has partnered with Oekowind, a company which develops and operates wind, hydro, and solar power plants, for this project in Chile.
