Green hydrogen pilot project set for Brazilian port

Neoenergia has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Pernambuco, Brazil, state government for development of a pilot project for green hydrogen production.

The green hydrogen production plant is expected to be developed at the Suape Port – Complexo Industrial Portuário Governador Eraldo Gueiros.

The initiative expects to find opportunities to enable demand for the product and prepare Suarpe Port to become a major hub for green hydrogen production in the future.
