Greenfield Global to cooperate on green hydrogen development in the Port of Montreal

The Montreal Port Authority has signed a cooperation and development agreement with Greenfield Global with the aim to develop green hydrogen for an indirect shore supply of electrical power for marine industry.

With a shared vision to encourage the energy transition and diversify environmentally responsible energy alternatives, the Montreal Port Authority and Greenfield decided to pool its expertise.

The result of this will see the agreement aim to identify, conceive and implement innovative green energy solutions, of which green hydrogen, ethanol and methanol are at the forefront.
